Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

It's been 2 months since I delivered, but I continue to have pain that feels/acts like a strained muscle in both inner thighs. Anyone else experienced this?

I read this article about common post-partem discomforts, and it wasn't on the list.

I ended up with an epidural, and I'm wondering if the strain occurred while I was pushing?

Yes, I've had this, and it has lasted for months. It's a pain that raidiates down the inside of my thighs. My afterbirth pains are worse in there than anywhere else too (I can't even stand up) and if I happen to experience menstrual cramping, it's in my thighs.

Yes, I've had it too, pinched or pulled a muscle/nerve or something in birth I believe, it takes a little while to completely settle...I relate to what Lisa says.

I had something similar with the last one, it went down into my things but upwards too. My dr. said it was actually pulled groin muscles. Sometimes, the pain would take my breath away. I can now (6 years later) actually cause it to re-occur if I try to move something too heavy with my feet, etc, so I guess I messed the muscles up pretty good and so they are easily re-injured.

prayers to you, I hope you feel better....
