Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I loved Mothering Multiples by Karen Gromada (and not just because our pics are in there). I have also heard good things about Having Twins And More: A Parent's Guide to Multiple Pregnancy, Birth, and Early Childhood . For me the most important thing with the pregnancy was to eat as much protein as possible! I also nursed my twins for 2 1/2 years.

I gave this book to two friends that were expecting multiples and they both loved it!

Definitely eat more protein (I had twins a little more than a year ago...I've still got a few books, but we're still unpacking)...LOTS of protein. I also made sure to take an Omega oil supplement, to boost their brain development--since its really hard to get enough Omegas in a regular diet, for growing two baby brains and maintaining my own. You need to make sure you are getting enough protein, fat, etc. Babies need LOTS of calories...even more than you might suspect...
