Hi Gals , I'm looking to find some type of a natural skin toner to use before bed each night .
Any ideas or recipes ? I'd like something aside from soap and water before I put on my aloe each night .
   Thanks a bunch , Rox

isn't a toner just something that is supposed to "tighten up" the skin or something like that? I thought they just dried the skin.. being mostly alcohol or such.. perhaps witch hazel?

You might try just using COLD water to do the same.. wash with warm water and then do a final rinse with real cold water.

I found some rose water and glycerin mixture in a spray bottle at the natural foods store. It doesn't dry out your skin the way witch hazel and some other things do. You can buy it in a much larger bottle and refill the spritzer. I use it between washing and moisturizing. It decreases the amount of moisturizing cream I use, so my face doesn't feel sticky (which is something that happens if I skip that step and just use the cream). I guess without the spritz, I use more cream or something; I don't like the way that feels.

Peace,
Nancy
