My sister in law gave me some chewable fish oil capsules for children -- with orange flavoring. My kids actually liked them! This was a little while ago and I threw out the bottle after it was empty, without thinking.
Since then, I haven't been able to find any more in the stores I go to. So I was wondering if any of you knew a trustworthy brand for children's fish oil capsules, particularly one available online. TIA--

This is the one we have. But it isn't chewable (but it isn't HUGE either, like most fish oil pills are...)

Willa, my girls (2 and 4) take Nordic Naturals Strawberry chewable capsules. My boys (8 and 11) take the Nordic Naturals Lemon 3-6-9 Junior Capsules. Both have a good flavor. (I want to mention that I have never ordered from either of the companies that I linked, I buy mine locally but wanted to link the products for you.) My kids have been taking them for a couple of years and they like them quite a bit.
(On another note, I take liquid CLO and do not like the Nordic Naturals in liquid form. It has a bit of a fishy taste to me. I prefer the Carlson's Lemon Cod Liver Oil as it has virtually no fish taste at all, just lemon.)
HTH!

Thats what we take. I have been putting the liquid CLO in my kids orange juice for years. poor things don't even know what straight oj tastes like. In the summer we switch to fish oil because the amount of sunshine they get then provides enough vitamin D. (CLO is a great source of vit. D)

Seconding Nordic Naturals. My daughter takes them. I think I bought them at The Vitamin Shoppe.
My son takes Coromega. He'd rather eat 'whip' than swallow or chew pills. Refrigeration helps with the flavor, in his opinion.

We have taken this for years. The kids call it the "orange pudding brain vitamin" LOL!

I know this is an old thread, but it was very helpful for me in my search for kids' nutrients.
Suzanne Temple's, Blessed Among Men, blogpost really inspired me to look into fish oil...On Homeschooling Boys. I am truly sorry about not linking. Does it have something to do with firefox?
I just ordered the Carlson's products listed above for a very good price. I just wanted to share:
I can't get the links to work, but it is from the Vitamin Shoppe website. Much cheaper than in the shop itself.

Dr. Sears makes a chewable orange flavored capsule which I give to my 2 yo.
We use Coromega, have for years, and love it. I use it as part of our non-Rx treatment for my son's MDD-NOS/BP
