Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I just found out I'm pregnant again. After 4 miscarriages, I'm worried this one will end up the same way. With the last baby, we had a doctor with the last one we lost and after all the tests, she said she does not know why my progesterone dropped off, especially as I was on natural progesterone. I'm sooooo early. I usually lose them at 6-8 weeks. I'm trying to stay positive but every cramp sends me to the bathroom to check if everything is okay. I want this baby sooooo much for my daughter's sake: Okay, Lord for my sake too. Does anybody have a story like mine with a happy ending? Maybe this post is too personal but I do feel alone: doesn't help that my darling husband is out of town.

I had these kinds of pregnancies, too. I will be praying for you and your little one.

Prayers must be working already. After I had my little meltdown I decided the only thing to do is to throw myself into loving the daughter I have whenever I start fretting.   Whenever worry starts to creep in, I'll pick up a book and start reading to her or do whatever she wants to do. I can also write in my prayer journal. Thank You Lord for the ideas and thank you ladies for your prayers.

Elizabeth,
I too have lost one child because of low progesterone. Now, I'm the BIGGEST fan of natural remedies!!!! But, I haven't taken the natural progesterone - instead the very second I think I'm pregnant, I confirm with my doctor, do the blood tests (they're always low progesterone) and he starts me on progesterone supplements. It has saved 3 children so far, thanks be to God! I'm not sure why mine drops either. I'm not necessarily advocating the synthetic stuff!!!! Just letting you know what worked for us!!! It is possible to continue a pregnancy that starts low in progesterone (some of mine have been scary low!) and don't discount God's grace here either! I would encourage frequent visits to your OB to monitor.

You are doing the right thing to allow yourself to focus on mommy-ing your dd. As you practice trust, God will reward you with peace! I am praying for you Elizabeth!!!

Elizabeth,I'm in the same position as you.I'm about 6wks pregnant and I've had 3 miscarriages all in the early part of the first trimester.I'll be praying for you.I just resign all of this to God's will.I still have not gone to the doctor because I'm afraid-what's the point if I'll miscarry again.I had four drs all confirm that there is really nothing that they can do this early.I'll pray for you,I have confidence that your pregnacy will be a healthy one, blessed by God.
