My 3yo son has been very congested for the past 3 days. He has always had a sensitive gag reflex so the congestion upsets his stomach. Please suggest a remedy for me to ease his congestion. He doesn't mind the sniffles, just the upset stomach. I've been taking him into the bathroom several times a day to steam him, but I don't know what else to do. My heart breaks for him.

extra vitamin C.. maybe just giving him more OJ than you might (btw, when I've had a lot of sinus drainage, the oj soothes my tummy too) and I'd be adding eucalyptus essential oil to the water/steam it helps with clearing thing up too.

Some other things..

hot lemonade
chicken soup
garlic (how about garlic bread with the soup?)
