Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My 3 yo dd has reflux- started this fall with all the stress of moving. Right now she is on 30 mg Prevacid once daily, and that helps her during the day, but at night she is very "urpy" and uncomfortable. She rolls and thrashes all over the bed. I am generally up with her for an hour or two per night. I have cut out all orange juice and tomato sauce and elevated the head of the bed (though I don't know how that can help when she's rolling all over the place). I feel so awful for her- I wish I could help her more.

We have an appointment with a GI specialist on Jan 2... but if anyone has any wisdom to share, I would welcome it!

Melinda, do you have access to a homeopathic MD? I am wondering if that could help? I will pray for the poor baby

Hello Melinda,
I know very little about it, but my sister's son suffers terribly from it. She has found a lot of advice and help from this message board

The format is like this one. I hope this helps.

Melinda,
My 7month ds was diagnosed with this and we had him on Prevacid for a while, but after a recommendation from a friend we went to a chiropracter (not just an everyday, type - this one is super well trained) and he adjusted him for me and he went from a fussy baby, to a much happier baby. He told me as he gently adjusted him that what was wrong would make that flap stay open. Anyhow, that's just our experience.

I'll pray for you and your sweet daughter!
God bless,
Angela

Thank you all so much for advice. I'm looking into all of it and praying for guidance.
