I am putting on a ton of weight with this pregnancy and am really feeling "out of shape". I walked to the mailbox one day (500 yards and a BIG hill!) and felt it in my thighs for days after! I want to find a gentle way to get moving again and ready for labor. Not to mention, not saddling myself with too much weight to lose after the baby.

I guess laying off on the ice cream and candy might help the weight, but I still need to get my body moving.

One problem I have is horrible varicose veins which make standing painful. So, something that doesn't require a lot of time on my feet would be best.

I've held off from replying because my video suggestion is not a pregnancy video, but I did use it while pregnant. I got the video from my library, so the title might not be exact. Here goes: it's called Big Butts Do America or maybe Big Butts Across America. Check out this title. The intro stretching and breathing exercises are wonderful and the aerobic part is very low impact for the most part and can be lowered if need be.

I like Prenatal Yoga with Shiva Rea. It has 3 ladies, one for each trimester, and shows how to modify the yoga poses as your shape changes. It's stretching mostly and the kids did it with me so I fast forwarded through the Kegels.
