Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

This is kind of a shot in the dark.
Do any of you know anything about tendonitis and arthritis in the elbow and hand, to the degree that one can't move the arm very well or work with it?
I'm looking for suggestions on a homepathic remedy perhaps?
One of my husband's employees has developed this recently. He is hispanic and has no medical insurance. The company's insurance won't cover him till June and even then won't cover a pre-existing condition.
He's paid out-of-pocket for an x-ray and a bit of therapy, but it's not really helping too much and he can't work and is in alot of pain.   So, we want to try and help him out. He's open to trying anything that doesn't have to do with doctors. I will try and do research on my own, but I thought maybe one of you who knows about homeopathy better than me could help me with suggestions?
Thank you and God bless!

I'm interested in a homepathic remedy too.
My son just had another x-ray done on his knee from an old soccer injury. The knee is okay but he was put on an anti-inflamatory for persitis or tendonitis and it seemed to work.

It's good of you to care about this man, Mary Theresa, and I hope someone has something that will relieve him of the pain.

pineapple (bromelain) and ginger are anti-inflammatories.. don't take large quantities of ginger if pregnant.. it could thin the lining of the uterus.

flax seed oil also can help

all of these work on my knees.

Also what I did was restrict movement but didn't stop using it. For one thing it was about impossible living in the dorms on the campus I went to college at.

But I used the neoprene brace.. let me use my knee but with restricted motion.. also the neoprene holds in heat and that seems to help too.

approx. a year after I was diagnosed with tendonitis in my knee.. I had it checked out for a job and was told it was gone.

But my knees are very prone to stiffness, aches, and reinjury ever since. The above will catch it soon as it starts.

At the time I didn't know about the ginger and pineapple.. so I did the 10 days of prescription strength (600mg or 800mg I forget) ibuprophen 3 times a day to get the initial swelling down.

arnica for sure! orally and in a lotion

Jodie gave good advice, they can all be done together.......the pineapple kept me from having pain when my wisdom teeth were pulled..........amazing!

OH! I need to do that now, for my tooth! duh! Thanks for the reminder, Jodie!
