Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have been doing some Montessori reading, and I read that the sensitive period for aquiring a second language is 2-3 years old. Does anyone teach foreign language this young? What resources do you use? We have been using Signing Time to learn sign language, but now I'm considering adding another spoken language.

We are a bilingual family and also do Latin/Ancient Greek and French. What languages are you interested in?

You said you were thinking of a "spoken" language before, so I'm not quite sure if you really think Latin qualifies, unless you want to teach the Latin used in church. I only teach Latin so that my children able to understand and translate it (and use it in church), but not to speak it like German or French. I don't really know anything about Spanish.
