Inspired by the Family Fun website, my dc have built a leprechaun trap. Basically it is a plastic black cauldron with a circle of green felt cut just large enough to sit on top without falling in. Then they placed a gold coin on top and have a small wooden ladder (from the dolls' bunk bed) going up to the top. They are having a ball trying all kinds of different things to see what they can catch in their trap.

I think we are going to be building that one too. My children love to make Leprechaun traps. I can't believe the day is sneaking up on us so quickly!

I found another leprechaun trap at the Steve Spangler Science site - but what I really think is fun is the Leprechauns Strike with Green Water trick. I've got to see if I can find some similar tablets this weekend.
