Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Just curious what everyone has on their shelves this month. For my 4 yr old I am focusing on tool use for practical life and so I have trays with:
nuts/bolts
screwing with reg and phillips
measuring with tape measure and ruler & string
level and a marble to see how it will roll shen not level
hammering into cork...I made a handmade version of this

hammering

locks/keys

I also put out a pouring activity with lentils, a handmade color wheel graduation activity, and a Dr Suess inspired art activity I got from here

la paz

Lots of interest from everyone in the house on these:)

My shelves are quite sparse right now. I had to pull everything from 4 feet and below because Katie is just starting to toddle. That leaves me very little space to set things out.

Right now I have set out...

**Art center with color pencils, small paper, scissors.
**Lauri puzzle center
**Heros Constructor Set
**Haba Geometry shapes hammer and cork set
**Octagon Block Puzzle
**Color Cards (3 part card set for primary, secondary, tertiary, neutral colors)
**Set of wooden blocks

I will be adding a bit more next week, but not much. Right now, my 4 yo is very content and is really enjoying his construction/putting things together theme.

My 3 year old has:

** binomial cube
** some 3 part bird cards
** moveable alphabet
** pink cards
** water pouring between 2 small pitchers
** scissors and paper or yarn to cut

My 18 month old has:
** Jenga blocks
** Color box 1
** Bean bags and a bucket to toss them in.
** nesting boxes
** spray bottle and a sponge
** bean pouring

Shared shelves:

** paper and colored pencils. My 3yo also has access to crayons, but my 18-month-old still thinks crayons are edible, so colored pencils for him.
** Unit blocks
** a cube puzzle

We are going to start doing more with birds next week, so some things will be changed around for my 3yo then. I'm trying to encourage him to branch out a little bit from the pink cards.
