Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does one have to order the control maps from the specific Montessori manufacturer? I had ordered one on EBAY that was dirt cheap and one from Adena. I would like to order the rest of the maps now but refuse to order either from Adena again or Montessori Outlet-I called this morning and the maps I ordered in March will be here in June but they told me 2 weeks ago that they were here now...I was thinking of ordering the Asia, AFrica, Continents, and North America map from KidAdvance and then ordering the control maps for Europe (which came from Adena) and South America (which I am pretty sure is an MO)....do you think it will work. They all seem to be the same size.

And do you use both the labeled and the unlabeled maps or just the labeled ones? I do not want more than I need.

Thanks,

Holly

I got all of my maps from Alison's. I like the three unlabeled controls that come with each map. I go through and label one and keep the other 2 unlabeled to use as pin maps, etc.
I think it is important that the maps match the puzzles precisely, so I'm not sure if that would happen if you ordered them from different places.

I have the same question! I ordered mine from Alison's and they came with the unlabeled maps. I like the unlabeled, but I would really like to have a labeled control too, and I don't think I'll EVER find time to label it myself. I'm either waiting till my oldest is up to the labeling challenge, or I may try to order the labeled control maps from Kid Advance and see how they match.
