As an alternative to three part cards, I decided to make workmats for our botany puzzles. botany puzzle workmats
I think they turned out well and I like that they will be interactive with the puzzles. I am wondering what other activities might lend themselves to this approach. I already have 3 part cards for the zoology puzzles, but perhaps my insect puzzles would be a good candidate for workmats.
Does anyone else use workmats at all?

What a great project! It turned out so cute. I have not attempted anything like that so far, but it looks like a good alternative for us, since ds is not a big card fan.
