Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

For those of you who have decided to purchase montessori globe(s), would you mind sharing with me where you got yours and (if you have it already) what you think of the quality/detail?

Thanks!

Kristin

I have the Alison's globe that just has the colored continents.
It is well-made, but small (about 6 inches diameter I think. I don't have it with me here). The detail is adequate, but not great, but I don't really think that is the point of this globe. I think of it more as a continent recognition tool, a tool for understanding the relative locations of the land masses, and a tool for understanding that the earth is spherical, not flat like the puzzle maps.
For detail I plan on getting a regular (non-montessori), larger globe.

Yes, that's the progression of the presentations.

We have a really fun one that we got from the Discovery store when plugged in it shows the constellations in the dark, pretty nifty!
