Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am looking for free shell cards and any other cards that would be suitable to use with a just three year old. What would you recommend?

I just spent last week downloading practically everything they had on their entire site - it's a gold mine! I loved the shell cards, and had been longing for them ever since I saw Meredith's blog post! Don't forget to check out the other categories on the Montessori Materials site!

Well I just had to share that we printed the cards and used them. Thank you Emily thanks for your inspiration too, your blog pictures made me finally take the leap, along with Jennifer's, Meredith's and ...everyone. Dh is starting to complain that I am spending too much time on the computer I have been, I've been 'researching'. Now I am doing.

Me too Erin! Today, I'm trying to re-organize the learning room. I'm so frazzled! It's been a day full of square pegs and round holes! I'm frustrated, but determined! I decided I needed to get some physical organization done because I can't just keep stacking and stacking. I needed to give some real thought to my "centers."

It doesn't help that for every item I move, the 2yo runs away with it. I'm thinking of paying $ to the older two to help out during nap time. But, that doesn't help me decide how to fit the square pegs in the round holes!!! My world for more wall space - mine are the trials of a woman blessed with an open floor plan and no walls! I'll figure it out - I hope.

Oh, boy! I went through all of this before I left. Ugh!
Luckily I had a definite goal of getting it done before I left, so that helped. I SO did not want to come back home to a mess.
Plus, I get home for a week and then I'm off to Virginia for the 4 real conference, then school starts right after that! Whew!
I still have a bit of work to do in the science room, but other than that I think I am done.
