I have made a bunch of saints in the past out of wooden finger puppet bases and felt so i thought it would be easy to make some figures for atrium presentaions.

didnt count on the new baby not wanting to sleep when i want to craft

so i was holding her and looked over and noticed on of ds3's plain wooden blocks sitting on some gertrude nelson mueller clip art on a church bullletin

viola! i copied some of my clip art files and colored them - a little modge podge and ive got the annuciation.

Not quite kosher but made and usable in 10 min flat.

then ds walks in and sees HIS blocks..."Mommy you dinit ask pwermiffin" (asking permission is very big )

he grumbled then said "wheres the bird?" ie Holy Spirit so with "pwermiffin" I borrowed a red block and modge podged away.
