All of these are good reads but I don't know if I'd buy them (which is a big statement from me as I buy all kinds of books). Have you tried inter-library loan for these -- that's how I was able to read them .... the one I really liked was Beyond the Rainbow Bridge and might buy that one once we're settled.

I inter-library-loaned these, too, just so I could see if buying would be worth it.
Beyond the Rainbow Bridge and You are Your Child's First Teacher really focus on the first 7 years, so I think since your kids are on the tail end of that stage, I'd go with the Jack Petrash one. I breezed through it in 2 days- couldn't put it down. But I would recommend doing an ILL at your library if possible. I like to do that just to make sure that the book is really worth owning.
The Waldorf Book I'm referring back to 100 times a week is this one. Rather spendy, I admit, but a goldmine that I think is worth owning.

I've read all three and it would be hard for me to choose just 2. I think the are all essential to read, no matter what age your kids are. I guess I would ILL all three, read them and the actually buy the Petrash one. It will be most useful to you in the years to come. But, definitely go back and read the other two as well, they have goo d basic information. I also have the Christophorus book and it is essential as well. Tons of good information. I like all of Donna's books, oh and Waldorf Without Walls.
Blessings,
Betsie

I haven't read the books that were listed above but I just wanted to chime in with what Sarah and Betsie said about Christopherus. I love the overview book. Yes, it is a bit pricey but this is one book that I will continually go back to as the years unfold, so I consider this a good use of my money.

Thanks for the comments. I am reading a borrowed copy of the Christopherus right now. I agree that it is wonderful and while pricey, worth it in the long run. I think I'll try to see if I can get them through the ILL. Thanks for all the suggestions.
