Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My almost 9 month old is a very chunky 23 lbs. Add to that a well-padded, cloth-diapered bottom. I am having a little trouble with clothes that fit over his bottom half. Right now, he is in 18 and 24 month sized clothes, but even many of the 24 month size is cut for the slimmer, disposable-diapered bottom.

Can anyone suggest some clothing brands that are cut fuller through the bottoms? I have very little for ds that fits for the cooler weather. I prefer soft knits, as opposed to things like denim, at least until he's crawling.

Thanks in advance!

I have found that Carter's and JCPenney's Okey Dokey brand are cut generously. If you knit or crochet you could also consider making some wool pants for your little one and then you just have to worry about tops. My hope is to get enough wool longies made for DD so that she is in them most of the time this winter.

hth,

Beth

Hey Lisa,
I just happened to come across exactly what you are looking for at juliestuff.com.

Look under Natural Family Products: Children's Stuff. They have a nice selection of clothing made for cloth diaper babies.

Hope that helps!

I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to add that i have had good luck with Lands End clothes fitting well over chubby, cloth dipapered behinds and their clearance prices are usually very reasonable.
