Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

This morning, when Katie (just turned two-and-a-half) woke up, she asked for her morning "nunnies." She nursed for a few minutes and then declared to Nicholas, "Mommy's nunnies have milk in them."

Nicholas (4), who still remembers nursing and thinks he's "loaning" her "his" nunny, played along, "Does it taste like soy milk or refrigerator milk?"

Katie, without missing a beat, replied, "It tastes like Family Milk!"

I needed a good laugh today.

Too funny! My little ones insist that one side contains milk and the other holds water!
