I'm looking for links for any BOY Figures....People, not animals.
We are looking to supplement our Polly Pockets and dollhouse collections
:: I know about the Playmobile figures.
:: Army Green Soldiers
What else?
What have been your boy favorites?

Toobs.
There are so many- pirates, cowboys, Indians, Knights, Artic explorers.
The space tube has astronauts.
Amazon has the Galilean boat playset with Jesus and the 12 apostles.
My dc still enjoy playing with those.
The same company makes Moses and Pharaoh, Father Abraham, etc

My boy's no angel but his favorite "figures" have been the painted saints from Catholic Folk Toys. My kids make those peg people do anything that Polly Pocket could do!

Heekin Pewter has A.MA.ZING stuff which both my boys have loved. The unpainted figures are quite reasonably priced and stand up to a huge amount of play. We discovered this guy when he used to have the booth next to my woodworker brother's at a big crafts fair in Memphis -- his booth was always mobbed with kids because he was just about the only vendor who had something a child could buy with money in his pocket.
He does fantasy/LOTR-type figures, plus all kinds of historical soldier-figures from many eras. We also have a war elephant and a couple of castles.
On the opposite end of the spectrum from "hand-made/small-business," my 10-year-old son really loves Star Wars Squinkies Battle Pods. He spends a lot of time arranging them in elaborate formations, and they go pretty much everywhere in his pocket. They were kind of a gamble gift at Christmas, because I didn't think we really needed any more Star Wars Lego, and I was kind of surprised when they turned out to be a hit.

Schleich Figures - lots of great play here with these. And many themes to build around.
Older 12" GI Joe figures - I can't really link you to these individually - you can search and usually find them on etsy or ebay. It may take some time to weed through all the links because many times the ones for sale are collectible, but there ARE play-able 12" figures out there that are affordable. These have been THE BIGGEST play figure hit here! A good price for an older Joe figure is about $5 - $10. We have a collection of 8 or 10 and I'm pretty sure I bought each as part of a "lot" or "Joe collection" with boots and uniforms, etc. I never paid more than $15 for a Joe and a big lot of stuff, and I'm pretty sure that a couple of our Joes were grouped. Anyway...just trying to give you an idea of affordable Joe figures out there. Just be careful because all the Joe figures of the 80's are the smaller Joe figures...which are also fun for boys, too. But the 12" figures get played with almost daily here - and they make it to the sandbox, into mud pits, etc.

I second the Toob collections. We love Schleich figures, but they are so expensive. Toob sets are only about 10 bucks for a dozen or so figures. My boys (and girls) love them.

Oh, that's right! my daughter just bought the Jamestown settlers set with her 40% off coupon. Not a bad deal.

These look SO neat!!! I can see why his place was mobbed, especially since even my 6 year old could afford it with his money from our elderly neighbor for fetching her paper and mail.
My boys mostly have Playmobile and green army guys, though, the Lego and Duplo men really see a lot of play independent of the blocks.
We have a few Schleich figures, but my guys prefer the movable limbs and such.
ETA: They also like figures that fit in their pockets , the Schleich are too big for that

Though on rereading the original post, I see Suzanne is looking for boy figures, which isn't necessarily the same thing as figures for boys!
