Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Baby T is set to arrive around Thanksgiving, so I plan on taking a hiatus from school at that time. At that time I want to get some DVDs from Netflix that would qualify as educational. I already put some NOVA DVDs in my queue that I hope someone can give me a thumbs up or thumbs down for. I'm not really concerned with how great they are, but more concerned about any inappropriate content (my girls will be 8, 5, and 3). Here are the ones I have so far:
1. The Vikings
2. To the Moon
3. Saving the National Treasure
4. Bees: Tales from the Hive
5. Ants: Little Creatures who Run the World

Has anyone seen these and noticed any inappropriate content? I wonder especially about the Viking one since they could be a little ill-mannered.

My oldest is currently using How our Nation Began for history and is a big history buff, especially early American history. She is studying Botany using Apologia. She is also very interested in space. The girls also love saint stories (my oldest loves those Mary Fabyan Windeatt books). I don't want to get a subscription to any other DVD provider, so I am only looking for stuff that is available through Netflix. Thanks!

Beth
