and you have never read Angela Thirkell's The Demon in the House and you need a laugh, then this is the book for you.

I love all Angela Thirkell's novels, but this is one of my favorites. It follows Tony Morland, age 12, and his mother, Laura, through a series of his misadventures.

We've had a few threads here recently about boys and the ups and downs of living with them, so I thought I'd post this here rather than in the book section.

If nothing else, the book will make you smile.
