Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hello Ladies,
I was wondering if anyone here has read any of the Louis Bates Ames Books? She has titles such as: Your Four Year Old: Wild and Wonderful, and Your Five Year Old: Sunny and Serene. You can find the books HERE

I'm struggling a bit to understand some of the changes I've noticed in my 8 going on 9 year old, and was wondering if the book on 9 year olds might be helpful.
Thanks!

It's been a long time since I read them - but I did read many of them when my oldest sons were those ages. I think they are very helpful in getting a picture of child development and what is common at certain ages.   This brings back memories - a very funny one of my oldest and the book, Your Seven Year Old: Life in a Minor Key.
