Oh you'll love it! I actually cried tears of joy when he received the host. The music and everything, it was so beautiful and the emotion overtook me.

Congrats!!! My oldest got his First Communion a year ago and now he is an altar server!

Yes, this particular priest is having his 50th jubilee and retiring, but he said that my son can now be an alter server. I'll set it up with the new priest that has been assigned to our parish. I'm new to all of this.
