Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

...how much you leak with a nursing newborn.

The downside: I'm always wet and finding every means of controlling the leaking.

The upside: I always seem to smell like baby.

Okay, just had to share.

Ditto-ing Suzanne on those fabulous wool nursing pads, Maryan! They were a lifesaver for me! If you haven't had a chance to take a look at that thread you've GOT TO GET OVER THERE and at least laugh at how much we can gush about WOOL NURSING PADS for heaven's sake!

I love my wool nursing pads, but when I was nursing my first, I found that even the Lana Ekstra weren't quiiite enough to contain the leakage! (I would actually stick one of the Lansinoh disposable pads on the inside of the Lana pad, lol! One thing I liked was that the Lana pads never left that ring-around-the-bullseye look that disposable pads do!)
