Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

No concerns about his condition here, which has been well monitored during the time I've noticed this, just curious.

I feel so few of what I'd call "kicks" with this baby. I feel so many more squirms and rolls. It seemed that he was spending a lot of time transverse into the period when they are normally head down, and sometimes oblique (angled) but finally seems to have settled just plain vertex, maybe around 36 weeks. I am 37 1/2 weeks now. Now that he's head down, and just bigger I guess, I feel fewer of the big turning type movements, but still, just not many "kicks." When I read the part about how you'll probably feel a lot of high kicks when the baby is head down, it doesn't reflect my experience with this baby.

He does seem to turn, posterior a lot, anterior sometimes, and maybe in between if there is any such thing. I feel big squirms/rolls that probably represent that. But still not many "kicks." Often it seems his legs are palpable off to the side while most of his body is up and down one of my sides.

Curious about your experiences...

oh by this point the "kicks" are more "pushes" if you ask me.. there just isn't that much room.. plus when they're positioned properly they're facing your back and lots of the little movments are masked..

not to mention where your placenta is will make a big difference in where you can feel things.. it also muffles what you feel.

ETA - I'm only a half week behind you.. though what I said might sound weird if I didn't explain that

I also have heard that the placenta location makes a BIG difference what you will feel. That sounds the most plausible if you've not felt many kicks all along.
