Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

nothing specific but pregnancy does use up vitamin and mineral stores.. if you're not replacing those, things like PPD can get consecutively worse.

Thank You Jodie.
I found an article with a connection between these two health issues and was interested to find out if anyone else had come across any studies.

It's not a definite (of course), it just mentioned that woman who have any form of diabetes are twice as likely to suffering from PPD as those that haven't had diabetes. So I thought that was an interesting correlation.

As for consecutive bouts of PPD I wasn’t after any personal testimonies (as I know it is a difficult issue to discuss sometimes and very personal) just a link, or comments, or any stories from the women here may have, or know of.

I was interested to know if anyone was aware if it is common for woman who have experienced PPD and have gone on to have more children whether their PPD was worse or better second time around.

God Bless & thank you again for responding.
