Someone recommended reading Seasons of a Mother's Heart by Sally Clarkson. I have purchased the book BUT have not read yet.
Would you recommend any other books by Sally Clarkson, such as the following:
The Mom Walk
The Mission of Motherhood
The Ministry of Motherhood
Any other recommendations along the same line but by a different author???
I am open to suggestions. Thanks in advance!!!

There are some previous threads that talk about the differences of her recent books.
Molly talked about the different books here.
I bought The Mom Walk after checking it out at the library so much.

No apologies necessary! We like new posts. When other posts are linked it's just to bring it to the current conversation, but don't think of it as a way to shut it down.
I have only read a bit of Sally Clarkson and her style of writing doesn't really appeal to me (maybe it's because she's not Catholic?). Otherwise I would have chimed in sooner.

Oh yes...no apologies nec....we can always continue discussion and ask more direct questions! I'll be back to fix your links later. I think one of those I haven't seen yet, just by the title/code, but haven't looked yet.

I loved, loved, loved Mission of Motherhood, Touching Your Child's Heart for Eternity . Sally Clarkson is truly a tremendous woman and mother ~ her book was so inspiring, moving, and heartfelt, that I read it twice and I keep it in my basket next to my reading chair. ... Love that woman.

I love Seasons for a Mother's Heart. but some sort of 'double up', and some are written more for the 'newer' mum.

Do you have any Catholic recommendations???? Someone else also recommended this:

This is from the Catholic perspective - what do you think?

I love so many of the ones you recommended, Michele, but I especially love this book by Dr. von Hildebrand!

And, I love this one!
It's not exactly the lovey-touchy-feely-inspirational-book as Sally Clarkson ...but SO GOOD!
And, all those "Courageous______" bible studies are really good and fun!

And, I was just thinking of this thread the other day:
Catholic Women's "Must Reads". There are many GREAT books in that thread!
And, here are a couple other Catholic authors:
:: Danielle Bean
:: Donna-Marie Cooper O'Boyle
:: Lisa Hendley
:: Suzie Lloyd

The linky-fairy fixed your links ....you had The Mission of Motherhood in there twice....did you mean to list another one? Or were there only 3 that you were wondering about?

I'm not familiar with the book or author, so I can't say. The books Michele listed are some of my favorites, especially Von Zeller's book, Holiness for Housewives (original title, Praying While You Work). That was a life-changer for me.
I am not saying that you can't read Sally Clarkson, just giving my own personal view. Your question actually has been spinning my wheels and going to start a new thread....

Ladies - thank you so much for all of your feedback. I feel at times, a little overwhelmed to say the least - running a household, raising children, staying within budget, considering homeschooling, the list goes on! I am in need of some spiritual rejuvenation.
If I could only choose one book to purchase at this time, which would you recommend out of the two below (they both seem similar in context).
The Heart of Motherhood
Holiness For Housewives
