Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Money is very tight, and I never manage to get to the city to shop, but dd3 and ds4 birthdays are in 2 1/2 weeks.
The are loving our castle studying right now and I thought Playmobil knights and princesses would be the thing for their birthdays--my trouble is money,

I have prime free shipping with Amazon, but most of the Playmobil seems to NOT qualify for free shipping--and the shipping is extremely high, anyone know the best place with the best shipping on these toys?

I appreciate any advice!

I usually order directly form the website, shipping is a little pricey there too, but hopefully not as much as Amazon.
www.playmobil.com

Hope this helps!

I have always gotten playmobile right from the website. (we have an FAO Swartz here, so we have purchased from them too, but the mark-up is insane. Even paying shipping I sometimes do better at the Playmobile site.)

When my ds was so into Playmobil, I found this website. They usually had better prices or good deals on playmobil. I never had anything but great service from them. I think right now they have any playmobil order over $40 is free shipping. Good luck! I love playmobil!

Try ebay....in fact with 4 girls, we overdid on Playmobil They oldest is now nearly 15 and they just don't play with it so much anymore. Now what else could a 15 year old want to do

Later this spring, we plan to go through some it and list it on ebay. If you are interested in certain pieces, I can let you know what we have and shoot you a deal :) Just PM me.
Blessings,
Stephanie

Joann, I second trying ebay for playmobil. We've collected oodles of the wonderful stuff over the years but ebay always seemed to be a better buy for bulk lots. Try typing in "castle lot" and see what comes up. Buff it up and wrap it in colorful paper and voila, instant collectibles for many hours of play.

I have ordered playmobil from Watts Train Shop in the past. They had good prices when I ordered but it has been 4 or 5 years.

I always order from Playmobil Direct www.playmobil.com. The prices are lower than my local toy store and you get a free item or free shipping after a certain amount.

One of my daughters is getting the adorable new Playmobil church with bride and groom for her birthday. She will be my brother's flower girl later this year, so the timing was perfect.

BTW, if you go to the German Playmobil website, you can see a preview of what is coming next year. The items in the German catalog are usually available in the USA one year later.

I wish my son were older so I could indulge in some of the cool Viking or Roman sets! We have a lot of the modern dollhouse and fantasy castle sets instead.
