I just had to share...
Yesterday I finished the novena to St Jude. One of my intentions was that my dear little baby would start sleeping better. He's nearly 9 months and has never slept through. Very different from my others.
Last night, for the first time ever, he slept through the night!
Amazing! God is good!

What a wonderfully answered prayer :-) Thanks for sharing!
I think I'm going to ask St. Jude to help me go to bed (where I have no trouble sleeping once I finally get off the computer!! )

I love St. Jude. I think I should pray this novena for sleep, too! Don't know why I didn't think of him for that; maybe with my crew, I just expect that I will be sleepless for the first 3 years???

Do it, Angela, and report back. If it works for you, I'm *definitely* trying it.

I had some more 'weighty' intentions too, but I must say that my desire for uninterrupted sleep really was a desperate cause!

I need to try this. My 16mo never (and I do mean never) sleeps for more than 2 hours straight.

Last night was even better! 10 pm till 8.30 am! I felt like a new woman today.
Will it be three nights in a row...? I'm not being greedy, every night is a bonus.
(Maybe I should write an Ultimate Guides to Sleep For Desperate Parents -- a slim volume just containing the St Jude novena...?)
