Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Our 5 1/2-week-old is happy looking out on the world, but she doesn't have the full head control the facing-out positions seem to be really meant for. Now, she does have pretty good head control for her age so I just vigilantly support her head the same way as when I hold her facing out without the help of the wrap. I'd rather have a position where I didn't have to be so constantly mindful once she was in the carrier though.

Has anybody figured out a better way to have a baby safely face out in the Moby Wrap before he/she has full head control?

can you do it so she's sideways? My little guy is usually happy enough facing me so I don't worry about it.. But in my sling I do the high tummy to chest carry and can let baby turn/lean so that they're side is to my chest and then their head is supported and they can still see out.

I think you should be able to.. you'd do it with her legs pulled up rather than with her stradling the fabric.
