I'm ready to retire my old, ratty nursing nightgown. I'm particularly tired of "slipping out" of the holes as I walk around the house before bed or in the morning, IYKWIM.  
What is your favorite non-nursing nightgown, that you can still nurse in easy enough? Please share!  I run pretty hot so both summery and wintery fashions appreciated.

I am in the same boat. Watching with interest. I am always freezing though from Oct to March - so am interested in the warm variety.
Amy - Expressiva has a lovely transitional gown which is comfortable and you will not have the "slipping out" problem. I have it - a light blue one - I will email the link tonight - crazy day ahead.

I prefer pajamas that have either a shirt and pants or a shirt and shorts, and if the shirt has buttons, all the better. Unless a nightgown is specifically designed for nursing, I simply find them to be too cumbersome.

flannel that buttons up the front is nice for warm
and some of the lightweight ones I've found have armholes big enough to pull around and use
but actually I like the big tee shirt types that when I'm up and about I wear with a pair of long underwear pants so I can just pull up from the hem.

Hm. I wore those tank tops with the bra built in, and a pair of comfy boxer style pajama shorts..I think that they were the bottoms to a pair of maternity pjs, lol. VERY comfy. I have/had a short robe I would pull on over it, in colder weather...

the Hanna Andersson one is very expensive but so nice and long wearing that its well worth it. Bc its stretchy knit you can roll over easioly in it without getting hung up in your nightie like you can in flannel.

I have never used a nursing nightgown,even after 6 children. I use pretty much the same as Jodie mentioned.Both the flannel and lighter type fabric have buttons in the front.They are easier to find than ones just for nursing.

My favorite thing has been to get pretty flannel nightgowns from Sears (they have some of the lace edging on them..not too frilly or anything but enough to make you feel pretty)
and they have elastic in the sleeves (easy to get them out of the way for those late-night diaper changes and washing) they come down long enough so you are always modest while sprinting after a toddler...
and they button down the front so you are still covered...which is great to have during those cold winter months...brrr... umm...but I still wear them during the summer because they are THAT comfy...dh teases me about that point LOL!

I find the nursing tops or nightgowns I'm more exposed. I do like to wear Motherhood Maternity sleep bras, and then I feel more comfortable in whatever I'm wearing (I think I'm working with a larger size than you, Amy).
I get hot, so I keep my night clothes light and cotton. I usually gravitate to two piece outfits, like capris and shorts on bottom and t shirt on top, and usually pull up. But I also do button down. I did look through some gowns at Sears (but it was a town that has more senior citizens) and I found a some lovely nightgowns that had button down enough to nurse. This was summer, so the neckline is square neck. I also found many ideas through Vermont Country Store, I just was lazy and didn't want to buy online.
