Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm about to write a post begging for ideas of how to get through this "survival mode" time. I'm finding it so hard atm and the only reason I can type this is that a dear friend took three of my children for me to have a break.

How do you cope when things just aren't getting done and you feel like you are failing and you just can't juggle it all?

I know it will end- I have older kids and had many years of boring sanity. I know it's worth it. I know I can do it- I mean what's the alternative? Run away?

Help.

Prayer and going outdoors are the only things that get me through the rough spots.
Hugs to you!

Maybe you could take just two days off, one to go for a drive and enjoy the outdoors somewhere like Theresa said, make it an enjoyable day out with the children. Then day two, just work in the house getting on top of some of the things that are really bothering you and then start again, back into your routine the third day...
