Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

of putting away the newborn onesies. Maria is getting so chubby she hardly fits the size 1 diapers . I'm relishing every moment of the baby days more and more with each child. Maybe that is one of God's gifts as we get older. It makes up for the fact that pregnancy and recovery are rougher in our 'old age'.

I still haven't put away Patrick's baby clothes--and he's 13 months old ! They're just all so cute and I like to look at them.

Yes, I know what you mean. It must be that we are more relaxed and have truly learned how to enjoy them when they are newborns. The crying does not stress us out as it once did, and also we have so many extra hands who volunteer to hold that precious new baby! Also, there is the sentimental knowledge that we are getting older and that this wee one could possibly be our last. All of that and most definately the grace of God helps us to so relish each and every moment.

Oh, and so do I. They grow up in the blink of an eye, and those little onesies look so TINY!

My oldest turns 17 tomorrow and my youngest turns 3 the next day..."It goes so fast" just doesn't even begin to capture it

Don't start.I am not yet reconciled to the fact that my oldest is now 25 and my youngest recently turned 10.

I, of course, am not old ( at 45) and want more babies.
