With my first two kids I had nursing bras that I really liked. I believe they were Duo brand, and they had three metal adjusting hooks over each cup. They did not have any lace, just a tad of embroidery. Unfortunately, after much wear, they were pretty ragged.

I asked my mom for a gift card to JCPenny so that I could replace them. When I went to our local stand alone store, they literally only had two nursing bras. One was a Duo but it was one of those plastic snap ones. JCPenny doesn't show any Duo on-line, and most everything they do have seems to have the plastic snaps.

I'm going to try to make it out to the mall to check a big store, but I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations. I checked an old thread, but most of the links are outdated. I'm looking for something similar to what I had before. I don't want underwire, and I'm not a big fan of tons of lace (too rough for me or my baby).

I second Jodie's recommendation. I am on the VERY large size when I'm nursing. I use a local lady for bra fitting, and she does Jeunique bras, which this site carries. And you can do a search for bras in your size. I'm getting sleep bras that actually fit from them. The service is awesome, the phone support is great, shipping is only $1. This woman knows what is proper fit and support for women, and it's just refreshing to get that kind of good bra and support.
