At just over a week postpartum, I was thinking of those few things that I am just so grateful to have to get us through these first days.
So, here is my "must have" list for the new mom:
1) Nursing pillow
2) Lansinoh
3)Miracle Blanket- this is wonderful!!!
4)Porta-crib with bassinet and changing table for the main level so Mom doesn't have to go upstairs
5)Homeopathic colic remedy
6)Plenty of big kids to hold little guy so Mom can do things like shower.

I am sure there are more essentials I am forgetting. Anyone else have things to add?

I am 6 weeks postpartum but had to chime in on a must-have...a great husband...especially a great husband with a week off...and a cleaning lady for a month!
