WOOOHOOO -- I have two nephews from Guatemala (and it took LONGER than 18mos!). My brother/sil adopted two boys who are 4 months apart ... they're now 5 and when SIL took them to tryout for a TurkeyDay play: well, they all assumed the boys would be made indians, right? Well the Christian church didn't want to "type cast" so put them in as Pilgrims!!!!!

Welcome to Michael! Prayers for you all as you go through this special "getting to know you" time together!! And how wonderful that you were able to get him home before all the uncertainty that the new year will be bringing to Guatemalan adoptions. Praise God.

(Actually, today we celebrate the one-year anniversary of our son's adoption--one year ago today, we flew into Guatemala City and his foster mom put him in our arms for good! Praise God for these sweet babies!!)
