Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Our electrical kitchen range is coming up for replacement. I am starting to do my research. I am not looking for top of the line high budget. One of my main wishes is the flat-top easy wipe - I am so tired of scrubbing out horrible stainless steel burner pans!!

Any recommendations?

I am thinking of going to Lowes as they have free delivery and haul away.

We did a kitchen remodel 2 yrs ago and got a Frigidaire dual-fuel range which I loved. The stove was gas, the oven was electric, plus a convection oven built-in. I realize you're asking about elec stove - I believe they also make it in electric and it would have the smooth top.

I've had mostly Frigidaire and Whirlpool appliances, all of which have lasted a long time with no problems (current clothes dryer is going on 18 yrs old) but I once bought a maytag dishwasher that had to be replaced within the first year. fwiw
