Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

What do you do when...your kids get the giggles and you don't feel well and then the giggles turn into a pillow fight and someone gets hurt and everyone starts ganging up on that someone and you still don't feel well and that person upon whom everyone is ganging up is starting to get *really* defensive and calling people names and such and now you're feeling absolutely rotten? What do you do?

And how's that for a run-on sentence?

I'd like to nip it in the bud when the first giggles are forming on their lips. But I *don't* want to crush their spirits and force them to live in a serious home. I have to admit that my incapability to deal effectively with the children today made me think that Someone was showing me what hell was like for me. I don't think I could suffer an eternity of the kids being so mean to each other.

And can someone tell me how to do the little signature thingy so I don't have to repeat my information every time I post?

Thanks, Tina, wife to Gus, mom to Alex, Anna, Joshua, Zachary, Lena, Jacob, and a new baby due in mid-September.

Hmmm...You mean like today when I was feeling like a wreck and I laid on the sofa to ease my head of the tension and the next thing I knew the dc (including my oldest dd's babysitting charge) was arguing over the Monopoly game so I sent them to the 7 yr old's room at the back of the house where one cannot hear a thing and, upon rising up, I went to inspect the room and everything in the closet had been untrashed into the bedroom?---including one of the carefully wrapped baptismal gowns! And THEN the 7 yr old has the nerve to call from the neighbor's house and ask if little friend could spend the night!!!

If I get over feeling weary and drained I might be able to think enough to help you out. The only thing I've done so far was direct them to their father. They have an awesome fear of him that's inspiring to behold. I'm such a softie.    (Not a good thing!)

Look in the upper righthand corner and click on *settings*. Click *edit profile* and scroll down to *signature line*. Type in your general info there! HTH!
