ds age 4 comming in from the garage: "Mom, ca' I git that loaf o' breed to the ol' man 'cross the street?"

mom: "uh, wha? Why?"

ds: "He says you bake a lot of buns in the oven. You never bake bread! I think he's just hintin' he's 'ungry, so I wanna feed 'im"

laughing mom: "um honey. 'buns in the oven' means babies in the tummy."

disgusted ds: "What?! Babies are made from puttin' bread in there?! Oh that's jus' gross. I'm not givin' him no bread if 'e's gonna do that wi' it. Bread's fo' eatin' and birds, not baby makin'!"

and so a little talk was had today with my dear 6th born child.....
