Hello everyone.

Lisa R and I are reading an adoption book together and discussing it on-line. Would anyone else like to join us?

We are reading "Adopted for a Purpose" by Pauline Youd. The introduction on the back of the book states, "Did you know that Moses, Josepth, Samuel, and Esther were adopted . . . that God's purpose for their lives could not have been achieved if they had not been adopted? . . . Pauline Youd shows that even in adoption, God's plan for our lives is working."

Come on - it'll be fun!

Hi Waverley and Lisa,

I cannot find this book, except through Amazon, and I have spent my current budget. It sounds amazing. My son is fostered and, to date, we have only found that all super heros are fostered. I am delighted that someone smarter than I has made the link to our Biblical past. I am keen to watch the discussion.
By the way - we always celebrate the feast of St Joseph as the feast of the Foster Father. It's just another aspect to add to the mix.
