Here's a great book for St. Nick or Holiday books -- The Gift from Saint Nicholas -- is a great story about community and how a small wish can bring a village together. The cover picture was used by HearthSong for their Christmas Catalog!

Check it out -- this one is a classic!

I had to laugh when I read this, Mary. We read this book yesterday and the first thing my kids said was, "Hey! That's the picture on the Hearthsong catalog!"

I agree, I enjoyed that one...I included it in my long Nicholas Reading List.

My library had a copy, but now I'm thinking I'll have to purchase one. Dh out of the blue at dinner asked me "Where is the book about St. Nicholas giving all those boxes with the teapot?" When I said it was at the library, he mentioned how much he liked that one! I didn't even know he had picked it up!
