So did anyone else see Sunday's ZITS comic strip? My youngest brought it to me this morning when he was reading the comics ---because he knew it would get to me .
This may have more impact on me (and some of the other "mature" moms) because we no longer have littles to sit in our laps and read picture books to. I loved the comic - made me a little teary for those days.
Zits strip
It reminds me of this old thread - When you were a kid...
In that thread I asked this question: For those with older children, is there a book that when you see it pulls you back to sweet memories of days gone by as a new mom reading the same book over and over to a young specific book obsessed child?
So what picture book is that memory for you with a now big kid? Any favorites...like Harold and the Magic Crayon for ZITS family?

Ha ha...twins for sure!
And the book for me if I would have my 25 year old climb into my lap would be Pancakes for Breakfast - Tomie dePaola.
