Eeeeeeewwwwww, That's Yucky! is the refrain in this sciency book was quite fun to read aloud as all my children (even the oldest) would help say the refrain.

Each set of pages is a new animal that does something "yucky".

And it starts out with a line about "do you know" this wonderful beautiful animal does some yucky thing.

And then all the kids say "Eeeeeeeewwwwwww, That's Yucky!"

Then the reader jumps back in with "But hey, that's okay, just imagine if it weren't that way"

And a nice short explaination of why that animal needs to do that gross thing.

My kids loved having it read outloud right down to the 2 yr old.
