Filled with great information about a large variety of animals who have interesting ways of surviving in their environments. It's a really clever approach for presentation - the author presents a particular problem and then shows several different animals and how they do this particular task. The illustrations are really well done, too. He is quite a talented artist. I've seen a few other books by this author (& team) but am just realizing how many titles Jenkins has either written or illustrated - a lot! Really intriquing ways to present science topics.

Meets my requirements for a well done non-fiction picture book .
