A. Lincoln and Me

Louise Borden

This story is about a boy born on Feb. 12th- the same day as Abraham Lincoln. He also happens to be tall and skinny, and Lincoln is his hero. Instead of feeling awkward and out of place at school, he compares himself to Lincoln and studies all his good qualities.

This book is full of wonderful sketches and facts about Lincoln, many of which I did not know. For example, he did not like being called Abe and signed everything as "A. Lincoln".
