I discovered a book at the library yesterday, and have been unable to put it down.

The Farm Book, written and illustrated by Rien Poortvliet. His art is amazing!

I have requested some of his other books through our library - Noah's Ark, The Living Forest, and He Was One of Us.

If you can get these at your library, you should. Truly breathtaking.

This post was a trip down memory lane for me. My Grandmother gave me The Living Forest when a was little. I always remember it on our books shelves..and occasionally pulling it down to "read".

He IS a beautiful illustrator!!!!
