I picked up this book because I instantly recognized the artwork of one of my favorite artists: P. Buckley Moss.

The illustrations are just a treat and the story is a sweet look into the simple but joyful life of the Amish.

Oh Diane, I have been known to judge a book by its cover and that one looks wonderful! It looks like there is a whole series of Rueben books. Will have to check those out. Thanks for posting!

Diane~I'm so excited to get this from our library!! Like Mary, I think it looks scrumptious!    But, our library only has Reuben and the Quilt.

So.......I filled out a "request for purchase" from our library the other day, and then when I was in today, went all goo-goo over it with the librarian....she agreed that it is a MUST PURCHASE!!! Can't wait. Thanks!
