We were able to go to the National Western Stock Show with a group of homeschoolers on Tuesday (including Momwise & MaryM!). The link will take you to my blog post about our field trip, but more pertinent to this forum is that the post includes some cowboy/western picture books we read to get ready for the event!

OK, not a picture book but our favorite Cowboy music is by Riders in the Sky. If you can see them live, please do...very family friendly and wow are these guys talented.
